Welcome To Pray for Jeremy
November 29, 2009 a parent’s worst nightmare occurred for Mike & Naomi Friedrich; their youngest son, 4-year-old Jeremy, had a horrible accident. Playing in his backyard, Jeremy used a jump rope to climb the slide and somehow got entangled in it. Despite their attempts at CPR, Jeremy’s heartbeat and breathing had stopped, but doctors were soon able to resuscitate him. While Jeremy’s body was recovering, the lack of oxygen to his brain was a more delicate situation. The initial prognosis was not good, but those who know Jeremy will tell you he is one tough and resilient child. He is now breathing on his own. We are all praying that this is the beginning of Jeremy’s conscious renewal, but there is not much that the doctors can tell us for certain.
Since this occurred, there has been an incredible outpouring of love and support, not only from the local community in Fullerton, but all over the country and even the world. Prayers from thousands of people are uplifting them and giving them the strength to face this ordeal. As their friends and family, we realize that this poses a tremendous emotional, physical and financial burden on the Friedrich family. Regardless of the outcome, Jeremy will no doubt need long term care. Please continue to pray for this dear, tough little guy.
